Invest in an existing fund. To leverage the contributions of our donors, we offer Community Impact Funds that pool the resources of multiple givers. Whether you give $50 or $5,000, your contribution can make a big difference because it is put to work with hundreds of others. Distributions are made at least annually to strategic charitable projects in Napa County in fields such as health, education, or children and families.

Start your own Donor Advised Fund. A Donor Advised Fund is like a tax-efficient philanthropic checking account. You can begin recommending grants to your preferred charities as soon as assets are deposited into your account. Each time you make a deposit you receive the maximum allowable charitable tax deduction.

Start your own Donor Advised Foundation. A Donor Advised Foundation is part charitable checking account and part endowment. This vehicle allows you and multiple generations of your family to be involved in philanthropy. Half of the assets deposited into your account are available for immediate grantmaking and half create an endowment for future grants.
