Ellen Drayton

ellenEllen joined our staff in October 2010. As Manager of Grants Administration & Scholarships, she is responsible for reviewing grant recommendations from our donor advisors, entering grants into our system, maintaining the Foundation’s database and running our scholarship Funds. She works closely with Julia, Rejane and Nicholle in Philanthropic Services. She also assists Julia with knowledge management for our entire organization.

Before joining Napa Valley Community Foundation, Ellen spent 3 years sending students on study abroad programs as a Program Coordinator and Assistant for the UC Davis Quarter Abroad Program.

Ellen is a native of the San Francisco Bay Area and holds a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from Colorado College and master’s of philosophy in biological anthropology from Cambridge University, England.
