Sandra J. Fasold, C.P.A.

FasoldSandy works closely with the Internal Affairs and Audit Committees and is responsible for the accounting and human resource functions, including: budgets; monthly financial and fund statements; financial analysis; grants reporting; internal control and audit; and payroll. She also manages the Community Foundation’s employee benefits program.

Sandy worked as an accountant for The Hawkins Center, a nonprofit law firm in Richmond, California, before starting at Napa Valley Community Foundation in February 2005. Her experience also includes working as a controller for an industrial manufacturer and nonprofit in Evanston, Illinois.

Sandy began her career as a staff accountant in the Grand Rapids, Michigan, office of the international CPA firm BDO Seidman. She is a native of Wyckoff, New Jersey, holds a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and earned her C.P.A. in 1990.
