Vice President of Development
Sarah joined Napa Valley Community Foundation in 2019 with two decades of experience. She oversees all fundraising activities, including establishing new donor advised funds, planned giving, and giving in support of Foundation initiatives. She shares communications and marketing responsibilities with other NVCF staff.
Sarah is steeped in community foundation work from her time as Managing Director of Development & Marketing for the East Bay Community Foundation. Most recently, she served as Director of Development for Episcopal Community Services of San Francisco, growing philanthropy for safety net services and responses to homelessness. Sarah originally hails from British Columbia, earned her undergraduate degree from Mills College, grew her community leadership skills with the 2010 class of Leadership Oakland, and has strengthened nonprofits throughout the greater Bay Area for more than a decade.
When not at work, Sarah is a dedicated long-distance hiker, a fledgling gardener, and a competitive crossword puzzler.
