Marion Mendelsohn Fund grants

This fund supports specific organizations named by the deceased donor who established the fund. This fund also supports healthcare programs.


This fund considers applications from organizations named in the trust documents that established the fund, and these organizations must be nonprofit partners in good standing to be considered each year. Currently this fund also considers applications from organizations or programs that offer mental health services to Napa County residents. This fund awards one-year grants for operating support or program support. Applications are accepted from: 501(c)(3) public; programs/projects with a fiscal agent that is a 501(c)(3) public charity; government agencies; public schools; faith-based organizations.


The fund is open for applications year-round. Grant decisions are made at the discretion of the Community Foundation Board of Directors, with recommendations from staff. Contact Rejane Brito or Julia DeNatale.
