Development Manager
Lena joined the team in 2025 as our Development Manager, where she supports donor stewardship, strengthens corporate and community partnerships, and helps advance the Foundation’s ambitious fundraising goals. She brings an energetic, relationship-driven approach to donor engagement and plays a key role in the execution of campaigns, events, and strategic initiatives that grow philanthropic investment across Napa Valley.
Before joining Napa Valley Community Foundation, Lena worked in community relations, development, and program management roles with the San Jose Earthquakes, where she led outreach for community health initiatives reaching over 1,200 students. Earlier in her career, she held roles with the Giants Community Fund and Cal Poly Partners, building a versatile background in outreach, event coordination, research, and community engagement.
Lena holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism, with a concentration in Public Relations, from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
A longtime member of the broader Napa community, Lena attended high school in Napa and feels a deep personal connection to the region—especially after witnessing the impact of the 2017 Napa Fire Complex on friends, teachers, and neighbors. Outside of work, she loves staying active, enjoying the outdoors, including horseback riding, and reading.
