We help students pay for education

You’ve worked hard and have big dreams for your future. We provide scholarships that may help. We believe that all young people have the potential to become confident and contributing adults. However, while gifts and talents are evenly distributed, access and opportunities are not. Every year, we provide scholarships to hundreds of local students. Our scholarship applications open annually in January with a deadline in March.

Your education is a team effort

You’re the MVP and we’re your biggest fans. Napa Valley Community Foundation manages and stewards nine unique Scholarship Funds — established by Legacy gifts and donors in their lifetimes — focused on Napa County high school seniors, Napa Valley College students, teachers, veterans and more.

“Our family has deep roots in the Valley, and we’ve seen many families – who also have deep roots here – struggle to send their incredibly promising children to college, so it’s our mission to help as many students as we can overcome financial barriers to their education each year.”

It takes more than financial resources to get through college.

Navigating higher education, scholarships and financial aid can be confusing and intimidating. We have partnerships with nonprofits and educational institutions that may be able to help.
