Bridging the gaps
If you are a Napa County high school senior, teacher, veteran, Napa Valley College student or Calistoga music student, we may have a scholarship for you. Our scholarship applications are available each year in January with a deadline in March, and for your convenience, students may be considered for multiple awards through a single application.
Our Scholarship Funds
The Daisy Cavalli Scholarship Fund benefits graduating seniors who attend a Napa Valley Unified School District high school and will be enrolling in a trade/vocational school, community college, or four-year college/university. Preference is given to applicants who are the first in their family to attend college. Recipients will receive funding for each year that they are enrolled as a full-time student.
The Edward W. Solomon Scholarship is given to support current Napa County teachers/educators who are continuing their education.
The Fruit of the Vine Scholarship Fund benefits graduating Napa County high school seniors and Napa Valley College transfer students who will find the cost of higher education a financial hardship. Preference is given to applicants who are the first in their family to attend college or are employed (or have a parent or guardian who is employed) in the Napa County wine or grape industry. Recipients attending a four-year college/university will receive funding for up to four years of undergraduate study.
The George and Gwendolyn Goodin Endowment Fund provides one-year scholarships to Napa County residents who are military veterans, or Napa County residents who are dependents of military veterans who died while in active service and will attend a two or four-year college, vocational college or university program. Previous recipients of this scholarship are eligible to apply in subsequent years.
The Judith B. Cutcomb Scholarship supports current St. Helena Unified School District teachers who are continuing their education or graduates of St. Helena High School studying to be educators.
The Lenore Hirsch-Jay Falk Scholarship benefits Napa County high school seniors that are graduating, and who have worked hard to overcome academic challenges. Applicants must be planning to attend a two- or four-year college program in general education. Although not a requirement, applications are strongly encouraged from students who have learning disabilities and/or attend a continuation high school in Napa County. Previous recipients of the scholarship are eligible to reapply.
The Ted Kohler Music Scholarship benefits Calistoga residents who are in grades 7-12, or high school graduates, who are committed to music and wish to advance their musical development. The scholarship can be used to pay for activities such as music lessons or summer camp, or for college tuition (where the students demonstrate their desire to continue their musical education). Previous recipients of this scholarship are eligible to apply in subsequent years.Apply Here
