We are so excited to welcome Danielle Barreca to our team here at Napa Valley Community Foundation! Danielle will be stepping into the role of Grants and Program Associate, where she will be instrumental in assisting our Donor Advised Fundholders with grants processing.
Danielle grew up in Napa and returned to the community in 2013 after graduating with a degree in History from Sacramento State University and living in San Diego for a time. She is an alumna of Leadership Napa Valley, an experience that gave her fresh insights into how Napa — and its community needs — have changed since her childhood. Danielle also served on the General Plan Advisory Committee for the City of Napa, and in 2020 she joined the board of directors for Napa Valley Community Organizations Active in Disaster (COAD), a nonprofit incubated and launched by Napa Valley Community Foundation.
In her spare time, Danielle enjoys reading — usually biographies or books recommended by friends. She also enjoys kayaking on the Napa River. And, if you are looking for local dining tips, Danielle swears by The Fink for its delightful small bites and live music.
Welcome aboard, Danielle!
