Climate Science with Drew Isaacs – May 28. 2026

Please join NVCF for an evening with Drew Isaacs — UC Berkeley professor, geochemist, former NASA scientist, and our Napa neighbor — for a closer look at the science behind climate change.

If you were with us at our recent Common Ground event in Yountville, this is a chance to go deeper and ask more questions. If you’re new to the topic, you’re just as welcome — these sessions are designed to meet you where you are. Over two hours, Drew will walk us through how scientists have been studying our climate for more than 200 years, what the data show about where we are today, and what those trends mean for the road ahead.

What to expect:

  • An overview of the science: what we know, how we know it, and where we’re headed
  • A curated Q&A where your questions guide the conversation
  • An optional 30-minute social gathering afterward

Seating is limited to 30 per session, so please RSVP below to reserve your spot.

This program is part of the Climate Education Fund at the Napa Valley Community Foundation, an initiative dedicated to building climate literacy across our community through science-based education
